Shake/ That Was Yesterday

Excellent cover of the Sam Cooke hit... given the RnB vocals and swinging arrangement on this, one could be forgiven for thinking this was a soul band until that ferocious fuzz guitar solo comes out in the middle...! The B side is terrific too, but more clearly showing their Virginia garage roots (they weren't British). This was the group's only National chart hit. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Cameo/Parkway Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
