She Came In Through The Bathroom Window/ Change In Louise

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its A&M original factory sleeve. This is a simply brilliant single from the quirky British singer. The A side features some classic psych-rock guitar playing over a terrific cover of a Paul McCartney contribution from Abbey Road. But the arrangement also includes a bit of banjo... like I said, quirky. 'Course, part of the quirkiness on this recording comes from the inclinations of producers Denny Cordell and Leon Russell. By the way, the self-penned flip is even better than the hit side. This absolutely essential Joe Cocker earns our highest recommendation of 2 stars! Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels, reflecting very light storage wear, while the vinyl (styrene) and audio are flawless! (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
