Two terrific early recordings by this master soul duo... Though Roulette failed to make them a household name, it's clear from these tracks alone that the record company only had itself to blame. Success began shortly after they were snapped up by Atlantic/Stax. The B side was issued again on the group's final Roulette single in 1966, after they had achieved success on Stax.
