Shop Around/ Who's Lovin' You

This was the very first big, million-selling hit Berry Gordy achieved as he began to expand and define his emerging Motown family of labels (Tamla, Motown, Soul, V.I.P., Gordy) that were so influential on Soul music in the 1960s. This pressing has the original "horizontal lines" Tamla label, with the hit version of the song, not the very rare, first-released (and then withdrawn) version. Credited to "The Miracles Featuring Bill 'Smokey' Robinson." Note: This beautiful copy grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). The A label has 3 tiny numbers stamped on it. The audio is strong with just a touch of surface noise. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
