This great track embodies the kind of modern-rockabilly sound I think Tom Petty wishes he had made. How it got lost in the great rockabilly revival of the early 1980's is a mystery to me! Jason Ringenberg and the other band members still tour and even record a bit, and there's a nice "meet the band" page on the Jason & the Scorchers website if you want to learn more about these wild boys. "Shop It Around" is definitely one of the group's strongest legacies. This promo copy has the same stereo version on both sides.
