This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the

collection, in its original, very cool picture sleeve (see scan). Cochran's soulful vocals on these tracks are a clear tribute to Deep/Funky Soul singers like James Brown, in particular, or Joe Tex... and as a white guy in 1967, he really pulls it off! The A side comes roarin' out of the starting gate and sweeps you to a frenzied gallop so smooth and exciting you don't want to quit! As far as I know, Cochran had only two U.S. singles with picture sleeves, and this one's photo of the singer truly captures what you imagine when you hear him belting out those notes. Too bad no one was listening, either Black or White, at the time. :-( Many fans also love the B side ("When My Baby Cries"), which is a tender, Deep Soul ballad. Note: The record itself appears to be Mint in all respects (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). Note, however, that the vinyl's inherent, very quiet surface noise  which is inaudible on the A side  can be heard on the very quiet B side, which means we grade the B side audio Near Mint. The overall audio grade of Mint reflects the A side and the nearly pristine quality of the B side.
