This promo release by the obscure country-rock outfit Shadow Rock (Featuring Keith James, as the label indicates) is well worth digging up, with two uptempo tracks and a whole lot of country soul. Note that the effort was produced by Wayne Carson, the talented songwriter responsible for the Box Tops hits "Soul Deep" and "The Letter", as well as for records by Joe Simon, Sandy Posey, Merilee Rush, Bruce Channel, and many more.
