Sympathy/ Beautiful Scarlet

This is the debut single by a U.K. group that was quite popular--and highly respected--by U.K. rock fans in the early 1970s. Their music represents that point where psychedelic rock was morphing into a more serious, art-type rock, and from the evidence here they weren't fully in one genre or the other. "Sympathy" was a Top 40 single in the U.K., and it managed to graze Bilozoard's "Bubbling Under" chart here.
