Takin' Care Of Business/ Stonegates

It's hard to believe now that this classic Hard Rock single didn't break into the Top 10 back in 1974. My recollection is that it took awhile to climb the national Bilozoard chart, but hung around a long time. That suggests that it may have done much better in individual markets than it did nationally. Certainly, it did where I grew up (Louisville, KY). Whatever, I love the way the band totally rocks out on this song... one of their best! By the way, when I recorded the retail release, I found it has the same special edit found on the promo release rather than the full 4:51 album version indicated on the label. This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio) (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
