Temptation Eyes/ Keepin' Me Down

OK, raise your hand if you got sick every time this song came on the radio back in 1970. Yeah, me too! That admission definitely pegs my age, but it pegs yours too! Still, absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say, and 38 years later this much-loathed bubblegum nugget sounds pretty damn good. And would it surprise you to know that "Temptation Eyes" didn't even make the national top 10? Certainly, the local Top 40 stations in my home town saturated the airwaves with it, and it was a huge hit there, but I suppose a lot of stations just ignored it.
