That's My Babe/ Your First And Last Love

Here's a beautiful promo copy of one of Rivers' rare pre-fame singles. It's an uptempo Rockabilly with manic piano and guitar that sounds a bit like Eddie Cochran. Not sure when this was recorded, but I'd guess it was earlier than 1964, which was the year Rivers broke out big with his first hit, "Memphis." I suspect it was Coral finding some old recordings and trying to cash in on Rivers' new-found popularity. Unfortunately, there's no songwriter credit for "That's My Babe." Note: This copy comes in a vintage Coral Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint audio.
