(The Lights Went Out In) Massachusetts/ Sir Geoffrey Saved The World

This great early Bee Gees single was their biggest hit to date, right after "To Love Somebody" and "Holiday." But they didn't reach the top 10 until the next year, when both "I've Gotta Get A Message To You" and "I Started A Joke" did the trick for this versatile Australian trio. By the way, this appears to be a non-album single, as the sides are missing from contemporary Bee Gees albums. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve. The labels look brand new. The vinyl looks hardly touched, and the audio grades very close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
