Garry was half of the Bonner-Gordon songwriting team that was responsible for most of the Turtles' classic hits, as well as scores of other titles, including hits for the Lovin' Spoonful, Lesley Gore, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, and Three Dog Night ("Celebrate" was one of theirs). This is one of his rare appearances as a singer-songwriter, both sides featuring string arrangements by Kirby Johnson.
