The Wrong Side Of Town

UPDATE: It turns out that this single, whose origins were previously described as mysterious, was not an actual 1970's single, but rather a product of the mid-1990's sung by pop singer Steve Brookstein and a deliberate attempt to mislead Northern Soul fnas. Given this information, it's interesting to reread my original post about the record:\r\n
This is a limited-edition, mint reproduction of Boardwalk 1004, released in the early 1970's (the release date shown is an estimate) and listed at #12 in Kev Roberts' latest list of the 100 greatest northern soul singles. As Roberts describes it, this single's origin is a bit mysterious, but he's right in declaring that its origin is not nearly as important as its musical value, which is significant! The flip is a terrific instrumental version of the song.
