The Wrong Side Of Town / One Picture's Worth A Thousand Words

UPDATE: It turns out that this single, whose origins were previously described as mysterious, was not an actual 1970's single, but rather a product of the mid-1990's sung by pop singer Steve Brookstein and a deliberate attempt to mislead Northern Soul fnas. Given this information, it's interesting to reread my original post about the record:\r\n
Originally released on Boardwalk 1004. With this U.K. reissue (small hole), you get the hugely popular A side that's listed at #12 in Kev Roberts' latest list of the 100 greatest northern soul singles, plus another earlier Four Vandals track... both from the early 1970's (the exact year of issue is an estimate). As Roberts describes it, this single's origin is a bit mysterious, but he's right in declaring that its origin is not nearly as important as its musical value, which is significant!
