Them Changes/ The Way I Feel Tonight

This genre-defying tour-de-force could be called Horn Rock, Hard Rock, RnB, or, as I've done here, Funky Soul. No matter what category you pick, you gotta admit it's a Classic 45! By the way, this is the same version of the song as that released the year before on Mercury 73008, which hit #81p in May 1970. Great, soulful flip, which is different from that on the earlier release. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Mercury Records factory sleeve. This styrene pressing has pristine audio on the A side, which is why I've made a snippet for the jukebox from it! Enjoy. (Sorry, I just couldn't cut the song any shorter than about 2:10 and still grab that amazing guitar break, so it's a large download.) The B side audio is mostly near mint, but there's a tiny scratch at the beginning that causes a light "pop" each spin for the first 20 seconds or so. The labels have light ringwear and grade a strong EX.
