This Strange Effect/ Now

Here's one of Dave Berry's rare U.S. singles, this one from 1965 and likely still featuring Jimmy Page as session guitarist. The A side has the same feel as Berry's classic "Crying Game" from 1964, while the B side is a tremendous rocker displaying the full rocking potential of this British singer and his band. Too bad he had absolutely no success in the States, though he had a series of big hits in the U.K.
