Ticket To Ride/ Yes It Is

At #29, this is the highest-ranking Beatles single in Dave Marsh's list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made! It ranks in Rolling Stone's Top 500 list as well. However you rank it, one thing's for sure: It's one Beatles single that owners don't give up readily. Would you believe that since opening the store in late 2001 this is only the fourth original copy worth selling that I've had in the store? Yep, last one was in 2016. By the way, the labels refer to a movie, "Eight Arms To Hold You," that as I understand it became the movie "Help," in which the A side (but not the B) is featured. The B side later was included in one of the numbered Beatles LPs that Capitol put out (was it V or VI?). Note: This beautiful copy comes in the very rare picture sleeve for this release, which grades a strong EX, reflecting mainly a couple of tiny tears and other top-edge wear, but very little ringwear and bright, shiny paper with no wrinkling. The 45 itself has Mint labels and almost-untouched-looking vinyl. The audio grades Near Mint.
