This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the

collection, in its original Mercury Records factory sleeve. You know, there isn't a decent, comprehensive and authoritative discography for Rusty Draper that I could find in a quick Google search just now. Not Discogs, not Wikipedia, not 45cat... I finally found this single in a Mercury Records discography (
http://www.soulfulkindamusic.net/mercury.htm) that looks both comprehensive and authoritative. It appears to be the second to last of two Mercury singles Draper released, to no ready success via airplay or sales, in 1962. If you don't mind the somewhat insensitive portrayal of stammering as a physical condition brought on by, er, sexual attraction, you'll enjoy one of Draper's last "hurrahs" in his Rockabilly mood. Note: After a good cleaning, this beautiful promo copy reveals pristine Mint vinyl and audio. Indeed, its only flaw is a very light touch of ringwear from storage in one or two places (see scan).
