This is a beautiful copy of one of the Drifters' most sought-after singles. It's rare for a copy like this to turn up for sale nowadays. Not only is it hard to find, it has the distinction of having a different version of the song than the one you're used to: It's not the same lead vocal as on reissues and compilation albums. Unlike those, the original has a distinct variation in the vocal on the lines\r\n

Under the boardwalk,
Down by the sea,On a blanket with my baby's where I'll be.

The difference is apparent in the last two verses.

Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), with only very minor flaws.
