Variations On A Theme Called Hanky Panky

Stereo/Mono promo copy (for the retail release Philips 40529). What a hoot! Who'd-a thunk it? Good to see that Ellie Greenwich herself was partly behind this... gotta be heard to be believed. :-) This 1968 promo is notable for having a Stereo version of the track; Stereo didn't become standard for U.S. 45s until 1972-73. Note: This beautiful promo comes in a vintage Philips Records factory sleeve. The Stereo label is pristine, but the Mono label has a small "47" inked on it. The vinyl (styrene) looks and sounds like new.
