Originally released in 1965 on the yellow/swirl Capitol label, same catalog number. This is a new, unplayed copy of the 1978 re-pressing on the purple Capitol label, in its original factory sleeve. (Note that I don't call it a "reissue" since it's on the same catalog number as the original. In this case, I prefer to call such releases "re-pressings" or "re-releases." By the way, it's "Day Tripper" that's at #382 in the Marsh 1001 list. Not that "We Can Work It Out" is a wallflower of any kind... it comes in at #699 on Marsh's list! I'd say this is a great Beatles single to own! By the way, neither of these tracks appeared on any contemporary Beatles album (they should have been on "Rubber Soul"). Note: This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
