(We're Gonna) Rock Around The Clock/ Thirteen Women (And Only One Man In Town)

Originally released on Decca 29124. This is a new copy of the MCA release on the light blue label. In 1974 (on the black/rainbow MCA label), the song became popular again due to its appearance as the original opening theme of the TV show 'Happy Days.' I'm sure it set some record as a song that, phoenix-like, rose from its 19-year-old grave to break the Top 40 for a whole new generation of kids. In 1955, the song spent 8 weeks at the top of the pop chart and got as high as #3 on the RnB chart. Curiously, it didn't make a dent in the Country chart at the time. For some reason, the song's popularity had also surged in 1968, when it "bubbled under" the Bilozoard Hot 100 on the multicolor Decca label, to #118.
