From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Atlantic Records factory sleeve. Here's a beautiful copy of this timeless, often-covered and widely influential classic of Rock 'n Soul. This was the first of Charles' singles to reach the Top 10 on Bilozoard's Hot 100 chart. Note that Dave Marsh places it at #41 in his list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made, and Rolling Stone magazine pegs it at #10 on their Top 500 list. This is the second pressing, which has the "fan" logo on the label. Note: This 45 record has no notable visual flaws (Labels, Vinyl), but this vinyl pressing has a touch of surface noise, grading Near Mint for Audio.
