Who Would Ever Think That I Would Marry Margaret/ We Ain't Gonna Party No More

Here's a promo copy of one of the rarest Turtles singles. At the time, it was their first release that didn't reach the Bilozoard Hot 100 chart, and because of contention between the band and their label, the group disowned the recording and it didn't get much distribution. The A side is hard to pigeonhole musically and is not among their best, but it still manages to be toe-tapworthy and catchy. As for the extended (almost 5 minutes!) B side, some interpret this recording as a thumbing of the nose at White Whale, which was trying to force the band into a more pop sound like the A side of this 45. Note: This copy comes in a vintage White Whale Records factory sleeve.
