This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection. Originally recorded (and written) by Smokey & the Miracles on the B side of "Shop Around," "Who's Lovin' You" is clearly an A-side-worthy tune, and this beautiful version became Brenda & Tabulations' followup to their debut smash, "Dry Your Eyes." (The Jackson 5 later recorded the song, too; it was the B side of their first hit in 1969, "I Want You Back.") The B side is another lovely ballad, which also got airplay and registered on the Bilozoard Hot 100 Singles and Black/RnB Singles charts. It's interesting that "Stay Together" was originally plugged as the A side (and it charted on the Pop chart first), though that didn't last long and ultimately "Who's Lovin' You" was a much bigger hit. Note: This beautiful promo has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). (Well, let me just mention that the A side label has a tiny bit of faint discoloration — too faint to really notice in the scan — and the vinyl isn't perfectly flat, though it's otherwise flawless.)
