Here's a beautiful copy of the rare first pressing of this classic, which shows the "Wild Thing" songwriter credit incorrectly as 'Presley,' rather than 'Taylor,' as on later copies. With this single, you have two of the essential Troggs songs. Not that they didn't release other great stuff, but this 45 is extra rich! Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve. The audio has a faint background "crackle" but is still a strong EX.
Trivia note: Chip Taylor, the correct author of "Wild Thing," was one of the top writers/producers of the 1960s. His writing credits include:
\r\n
\r\n- Angel of the Morning (Merillee Rush)
\r\n- I Can't Let Go (Hollies), and
\r\n- Any Way That You Want Me (American Breed, Evie Sands, and others)
