You Don't Know Where Your Interest Lies / Breakaway

Originally released on Columbia 44004. As Kev Roberts notes in his description of this imminently danceable track, "Dana singing a Simon and Garfunkel has trademarks of lack-of-fulfillment, Soul-wise." But despite its unlikely combination of talents, the song has been a huge Northern Soul hit for 25 years, and Roberts pegs it at #17 in his list of the 500 biggest hits. The flip side of this reissue has another Northern Soul track that was originally released on Columbia. (Incidentally, original copies of either of these singles would set you back more than $600 apiece, so I for one am thankful there are still great reissues like this floating around!)
