Candle in the Wind 1997/ Something About the Way You Look Tonight

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. Trivia buffs, take note: This single was the biggest hit of Elton John's long career. No, it wasn't the original A side, "Something About..." that most grabbed listeners — it was the updated version of "Candle in the Wind" on the flip, a tribute to Princess Diana, who died in a car crash on 8/31/1997. It topped the U.S. singles chart for 14 weeks and remained on the chart for a full 42 weeks! (At Classic 45s, we list the biggest hit first in the title, even if it wasn't clearly marked as the A side. We think the chart and airplay information is that important.)
