This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Atco Records factory sleeve. This U.K. duo had a handful of hits there during 1959-61, but this 1967 comeback attempt fizzled on both sides of the Atlantic. I speculate that, since Greenaway-Cook wrote both sides of this one, they may have produced it as well, and this version very likely precedes the more well-known (and better) version by the U.S. Vogues (which also failed to chart). The B side is another uptempo, brightly shining Sunshine Pop number. Note: This beautiful promo 45 has no notable flaws, grading pristine Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
