Along Came Linda/ You Look So Lonely

Though he had a couple of early chart credits (this one and "I'll Remember Carol"), Tommy Boyce's career really took off after he teamed up with fellow songwriter Bobby Hart in 1966(?). Together, the duo wrote big hits for the Monkees (e.g., "Last Train To Clarksville," "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You", "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone") and had a couple of their own ("I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight" and "Alice Long").
