Big Bird/ Holding On With Both Hands

This is definitely one of Eddie Floyd's greatest singles (Dave Marsh pegs it at #332 out of 1,001), yet one that is least well known and hardest to find... A must for collectors of Funky Memphis soul! Prices on this record have shot way up since the last time I had a copy. But frankly, the previous book values have been too low, IMHO. Note: This beautiful copy, a first pressing on the light blue Stax label, comes in a vintage Atlantic-Atco Records factory sleeve. This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal collection. The labels are pristine except for an "X" inked on the A side (see scan). The vinyl has some very light storage wear, grading Near Mint. The A side audio is pristine... A real treat! I did hear a little surface noise on the B side, as I recall, so I'm setting the overall grade at Near Mint.
