Unless you're a U.K. northern soul fan, you may actually have missed hearing the original version of this irresistable soul tune, popularized in the early 1980's around the world by the U.K. synth/pop band Soft Cell. But suffice it to say, "You're Missing Out!" if you've actually missed out until now. Kev Roberts puts this one at #24 in his list of the 500 top northern soul hits, and notes that it actually has been the first or second most-played single in the dance clubs. The flip is another Gloria Jones track that is so good it also makes Kev Roberts' list.
