Ain't That Bad/ Progress

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection. This is a terrific uptempo, guitar-led groove with an almost-rap vocal going on. Not lyrics, though, so much as meaningful syllables. The label includes vocal credit to "Winfield." Northern Soul fans may prefer the B side instrumental, which is also worth seeking out. This is the second pressing on Symbol Records, which picked up the tracks from the smaller Philly label Pee Vee. Note: Aside from the "Plug Side" stamped on the A label, this beautiful promo copy is pristine Mint, with Mint labels and audio.
