Go Where You Wanna Go/ Too Poor To Die

Here's a worthy copy of the group's first chart single — and my personal favorite of their catalog. This is only the third copy we've put into the store. It comes in a gorgeous copy of the release's cool picture sleeve. Note that it's written by none other than John Phillips, the lead Papa who wrote such classics as "Monday, Monday" and "California Dreamin." The flip is an uncharacteristic Northern Soul dancer with a great beat and lead vocal by one of the guys rather than Marilyn McCoo. Note: The picture sleeve is virtually flawless, in much better condition than the record itself. Although the record has VG labels (with ringwear, a little writing) and EX vinyl (styrene), thankfully the audio redeems the record with Near Mint sound.
