Greenburn, Glickstein, Charles, David Smith & Jones/ The Warm

Woah! Who knew the Cryan' Shames, they of shimmering Sunshine Pop hits like "I Wanna Meet You," could rock out like this? Despite the song's silly title, if you heard this rare psychedelic-rock nugget out of context, I'm sure you'd never guess the group. Since you might not even believe me, I'm sticking a snippet of the track in the Classic 45s jukebox. The flip, by contrast, is a more typical recording, with lovely vocal harmonies. It's also a previously unreleased, non-album track. Note: This beautiful promo 45 comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. Its labels and vinyl (styrene) grade very close to Mint in appearance, and the audio itself is stone Mint.
