The Dog/ Did You Ever Love A Woman

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal collection. After a 10-year hiatus from the charts after hitting big with 'Bear Cat' on Sun (an answer record to Willie Mae Thornton's 'Hound Dog'), Thomas roared back on the charts with this terrific soul number, an early example of what I call "Funky Soul." Note: The B side label has an "X" on it, but otherwise the labels look new with just a hint of storage wear on the A side. The vinyl also looks brand new, but is downgraded to Near Mint to reflect a small, shallow, no-impact warp. The audio remains pristine Mint.
