The Dog/ Did You Ever Love A Woman

After a 10-year hiatus from the charts after hitting big with 'Bear Cat' on Sun (an answer record to Willie Mae Thornton's 'Hound Dog'), Thomas roared back on the charts with this terrific Soul number, an early example of what I call "Funky Soul." The B side is a non-album tune. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Atlantic-Atco Records factory sleeve. The labels look pristine except for some light discoloration on the A side (see scan). The vinyl looks untouched, however, and the audio is pristine Mint!
