This terrific dance number is #258 in Kev Roberts' original listing of the 500 greatest Northern Soul 45's. Armstead was a former member of the Ikettes and later worked in the Motown "factory" as a songwriter alongside Valerie Simpson and Nicholas Ashford. Note: This copy has some light ringwear, and the vinyl has some scuffing, both grading a strong EX in appearance. The A side audio is a weak Near Mint, with a light touch of underlying surface noise.
