Alan Price Set

The Alan Price Set was a British band active during the mid-1960s, founded by keyboardist and vocalist Alan Price after his departure from The Animals. Noted for their blend of rhythm and blues, jazz, and pop, the band's signature sound was defined by Price's distinctive organ playing and vocals. Their most notable work is the 1966 hit "I Put a Spell on You," which reached number nine in the UK singles chart. Despite their relatively short tenure, the Alan Price Set's fusion of genres played a role in shaping the British pop and rock scene of the 1960s.
