For those of you too young to remember, Tiny Tim was an outrageous novelty act who rode his impossibly high voice and tiny ukelele to fame after appearing on Rowan & Martin's hit TV show,
Laugh-In. Hearing this one again today makes me wonder whether Tim must not have been a major influence on little Russell Mael, the lead singer of Sparks whose vocal style owes a great deal to Tim. Some have accused Sparks, of course, of fueling Queen... especially tracks like their wildly popular "Bohemian Rhapsody." Picture sleeve reads "special promotional copy" although the record has no promo markings. These songs never appeared on any original album even though the picture sleeve mentions two different album titles, "Tell Me That You Love Me", and "I Won't Dance". Neither of these albums were ever released. \r\nNote: This beautiful copy comes in a nearly picture sleeve. It has very Mint labels and audio, despite some light storage wear on the vinyl. (This scan is a representative image from our archives. The sleeve for sale is wrinkle free and as close to flawless as sleeves can get.)
