Originally released on Apex 7750. Along with "You're So Fine" by the Falcons, "Island Of Love" is one of the earliest recordings that hint at the coming transition from doo-wop ("RnB group harmony") to soul. It's also one of my personal favorites. :-) The flip of this reissue is "Feel Like Lovin'," which was previously released on the B side of the group's classic single "Tragic." This reissue is now out of print... Last Mint copies.
