Archie Bleyer

Archie Bleyer was an American song arranger, bandleader, and record company executive active in the mid-20th century. He was known for his work with the Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts television show, where he served as the musical director. In 1952, Bleyer founded Cadence Records, which became notable for signing and producing major acts such as The Everly Brothers and Andy Williams. His musical style, while varying, often leaned towards pop and easy listening, appealing to a broad audience during the era.
