Asphalt Jungle is an electronic music duo formed in 1993 by brothers Mark and Jay Aston, former members of the British new wave band, Gene Loves Jezebel. Known for their fusion of techno, industrial, and rock styles, they gained recognition with the single "Freakin'" which was featured prominently in episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Their sound is characterized by a blend of heavy guitar riffs, electronic beats, and dark lyrical themes. Despite their limited discography, Asphalt Jungle played a significant role in the evolution of electronic rock in the 1990s.
