Bash & Pop is an American alternative rock band formed in 1992 by Tommy Stinson following the break-up of The Replacements, a highly influential punk rock band. Their musical style is characterized by a raw, unpolished sound blended with melodic hooks, falling in line with the post-punk alternative rock movement of the early '90s. The band's debut album, "Friday Night Is Killing Me", released in 1993, is their most notable work, exhibiting their unrefined yet melodically rich sound. After a brief run, the band disbanded in 1994, only to reform in 2016, further cementing their significance in the alternative rock scene.
