Bill Justis was an American saxophonist, arranger, and songwriter, known for his influential work in the rock and roll and pop genres during the 1950s and 1960s. He is best remembered for his instrumental hit "Raunchy", which became a trailblazer for the rock and roll instrumental genre. His distinctive sound combined elements of rhythm and blues, country, and jazz. Justis' work as a musical arranger for Sun Records also contributed significantly to the development of rockabilly music.
