Bill Summers and Summers Heat is an American funk band that found prominence in the late 1970s. Led by percussionist Bill Summers, the band is known for blending various musical styles including funk, jazz, and world music, with a particular emphasis on Afro-Cuban rhythms. Their most influential work is arguably their 1977 album "Feel the Heat", which features a unique fusion of these styles.
