Blackgirl was an American R&B vocal trio that surfaced in the early 1990s. Consisting of members Pam Copeland, Nycolia "Tye-V" Turman, and Rochelle Stuart, the group was known for their smooth harmonies and contemporary urban sound. Their debut album, "Treat U Right," produced by Gerald Levert, was a notable work in the R&B genre and included the hit single "Where Did We Go Wrong." Despite their initial success and promising talent, Blackgirl disbanded shortly after their first release, contributing to their brief, yet impactful presence in the 90s R&B scene.
