Boots Brown and his Blockbusters was a pseudonym used by the American jazz and pop composer and arranger, Ernie Freeman, for some of his works in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Their music, characterized by energetic R&B instrumentals, blended elements of jazz, pop, and rhythm and blues. The band was renowned for their hit singles such as "Cerveza" and "Doodle Bug", which resonated within the dance music scene.
