Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, first formed in 1990. Known for their post-grunge and hard rock style, they gained significant commercial success in the mid-1990s with hit singles like "Far Behind" and "You". The original band members included Kevin Martin (vocals), Peter Klett (lead guitar), Bardi Martin (bass), and Scott Mercado (drums). Candlebox's eponymous debut album was an influential work in the 90's rock scene and is often cited as a notable contribution to the transition between grunge and the more polished sound of post-grunge.
